Our mission is to identify, activate, equip, and send the family of God as supernatural influencers to minister in all spheres of society. They will radically display the love of God through signs, wonders, and miracles. Through creativity, they will bring heavenly solutions to their jobs, business, and vocations.

Our definition of "Revival" is when all creation is restored to God's original design. At School of Revivalists, we are dedicated to influencing all spheres of society to discover their place in His Family. We feel this is accomplished through Ekklesia: A Church Family who creates a Community that transforms Culture. As such, our programs are designed to produce supernatural influencers who can demonstrate the power and love of Jesus.

Values: biblical excellence & Prioritizing presence

Our learning environment centers around devotion to solid biblical exegesis and application curated in an atmosphere of God’s presence. We apply the discipleship model of behold, become, release through rich and engaging classes.

• Informational - Students learn through class settings and absorb the information.

• Experiential - Students experience what they learn by interacting with other students and the instructors.

• Activational - After learning it, and then doing it together, students are activated to do it themselves. Our goal is for the students to be able to reproduce what they learn through activating their experience.

history

An Idea: SOR began as an idea in a coffee shop in Atlanta in the Spring of 2018. David & Allessia Edwards both attended ministry schools set in the atmosphere of revival and began to dream about taking the history and experience of revival on the road as an intensive.

An Inauguration: In the Fall of 2018, the first SOR intensive was held in Augusta, GA. Two days filled with fire and glory coupled with a dive into the history of revival marked the city and paved the way for the trajectory of SOR.

A Transformation: Having lived on the Panhandle of Florida and being part of the Brownsville Revival, the Edwards began to dream about moving back to the area with a heart to reignite and expand the fires of revival through the longevity of kingdom family and culture. Their dream elevated from intensives to building a full-length school of ministry offering certificates, diplomas, and degrees centered on the preservation and continuation of revival.

A Launching: In 2020, they moved to the Destin area and launched SOR as a ministry training center. The first class graduated in 2021. Later that year, they were granted status as a religious institution of higher learning by the State of Florida and enabled to offer religious degree programs.

A Family: In 2022, David & Allessia, along with Stephanie McMinn founded Awaken Family Church. SOR, together with Awaken, forms a Kingdom Family Resource Center on the Emerald coast as a home for God’s family and a training center for His sons and daughters to transform culture and ignite revival fires.
